In every democracy, real power does not start in government houses or legislative chambers, it starts with the people.

It starts with your vote. And your vote begins with one important document: your Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).

Today, I am calling on every eligible Nigerian, especially young people and first-time voters, to take this simple but powerful step: register and get your PVC.

Why Your PVC Matters

Your PVC is more than a card.It is your voice. It is your right. It is your power to choose the future you want. For too long, decisions have been made without the full participation of the people. Not because we don’t care -but because many of us never completed the first step. When you don’t vote, you hand over your power to others to decide for you.If you truly want:Better Leadership accountable Governance improved opportunities for our Communities. A future that works for Everyone then your PVC is not optional -it is essential.

The Continuous Voter Registration Is Back

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reopened Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), giving Nigerians another opportunity to: Register for the first time, Transfer their voter Registration, Correct personal details, Replace lost or damaged PVCs.

Important Registration Dates

To make it easier for everyone, voter registration is available both online and in person:

🟢 Online Registration:

📅 August 18, 2025

🔴 In-Person Registration:

📅 August 25, 2025

Whether you are registering for the first time or updating your details, make sure you take advantage of these dates.

Especially to Young People

Young Nigerians make up the largest percentage of our population. Your energy, creativity, and ideas shape our culture, our economy, and our future – yet your voices are often underrepresented at the ballot box.If you are old enough to complain about the system, you are old enough to register and vote. Change does not happen on social media alone. Change happens when young people show up, register, and vote.

This Is Not About Parties – It’s About Participation.

This message is bigger than any political party or ambition. It is about active citizenship. It is about standing up and saying: “My future matters, and I will participate in shaping it.” Democracy only works when the people take responsibility for it.

Let’s Build the Future Together as someone who believes deeply in service, leadership, and community development, I am committed to encouraging participation, inclusion, and accountability at every level. But no leader can do it alone.
